An original composition for violin and guitar by Gerry Dempsey written as an homage to Israeli nuclear whistleblower, Mordechai Vanunu, who has just been re-arrested again this week by the Israeli police, and celebrated Yiddish poet and songwriter Mordechai Gebertig who was tragically shot dead n the Krakow Ghetto in 1942.
This version features Gerry on guitar and a violin playing several overdubbed parts.
An earlier recording of the composition can be heard here.

Subject: Beautiful melancholy ...
This is a beautiful tune, full of wistful melancholy. The violin line plays hauntingly, reminiscent of the great klezmer tunes.
Well worth listening to ... several times!
